This event will be held at Bernardo Heights Country Club 16066 Bernardo Heights Parkway, San Diego, CA 92128
Before the golf tournament, help is needed to solicit door prizes and silent auction items/wrapping them for display, put together goodie bags for the golfers, along with a variety of other administrative functions. The day of the tournament, help is needed at the registration table to sign golfers in, sell door prize tickets/mulligans, and setup bid sheets for silent auction, etc.
MONTHLY RESTAURANT NIGHTS
Each month we will be hosting an evening at an area restaurant, which will donate a portion of the proceeds of your meal to BLAST.
Flyers will be posted on this site one week prior to each event.
We hope you will want to come and also invite your friends and neighbors. You must have the flyer for BLAST to get the benefit!
BLAST RUMMAGE SALE
Annual event in Feb. to raise funds for the program. Thank you for your 2017 purchases and donations!
This event takes place at New Hope Church from 7AM-Noon.
Volunteers are needed to unload donations and sort/price items on the Friday before the event. On Saturday, volunteers can organize, restock, bag, and help buyers carry out the items they purchase. Help is also needed at noon on Saturday to bag all remaining inventory for pick up, or delivery to a local thrift store.
Talent Night Friday Coming Soon - 2018
This event will take place at New Hope Church from 7:30-9PM. Students prepare dancing, music, skits, and artwork for this event. Practice for this show usually begins in January after Winter Break.
Volunteers can help to create/print a program, decorate the stage, help as a stage hand, or serve refreshments afterwards. Here's our 2015 show:
Annual Shoe Drive
Please save your old shoes for our yearly event every spring and we'll collect your old or unwanted shoes and recycle them for cash to the benefit of our program.
